Each fall and spring, members of our League don reflective chartreuse safety vests, gloves, and sturdy shoes to pick up trash along a stretch of Highway 14 just outside Middleton.
This fall's cleanup has been scheduled for Monday, October 2, with Wednesday, October 4, as a rain date. (NOTE that the Enews had the wrong rain date!) If you would like to join us, but have not already been in touch with the organizer, Doug Johnson, please contact him for more information and to allow him to have enough gear on hand. The more volunteers who help, the easier it will be on everyone. This is a great chance to get to know another member well, as you work in pairs for about two hours.
