What Liaisons to Senior Centers and Housing Complexes Do
As soon as possible:
Identify a contact at the Senior Center/housing complex who can authorize actions needed
Ensure that handouts about Senior Voter Photo ID are available, including the City of Madison or Dane County Senior Voter Photo ID brochures and the “Photo ID and Voting Information for Seniors” handout.
Election Articles for Newsletters Request publication of an article about Voter Photo ID and online voter registration in their local newsletter.

As you accomplish each task, please log your activity on the easy-to-use forms linked on this page.
Additional steps for liaisons:
Assist voters with registration (online for those with a WI driver license or ID card)
Arrange a presentation on Voter Photo ID, including the option of a permanent absentee ballot
Senior Centers periodically host health fairs where agencies that offer services to seniors in their home send representatives. You might talk to representatives of these agencies to see if their workers could help clients apply for a permanent absentee ballot. These documents may help.

It doesn't have to be on this list. If more than one person volunteers for the same location, we may share your contact information so you can coordinate.
