League members joined the No Kings event in Madison. Millions of people across the nation marched in protest of the federal government’s increasingly alarming steps toward authoritarianism over democracy. In Madison, about 15,000 people gathered at Library Mall and marched to the State Capitol. Smaller events took place in more than 50 communities around the state.
