2025 Annual Meeting

Saturday, May 17, 9-11 a.m.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Capitol Lakes Grand Hall, 333 W Main St, Madison

If you park in the ramp across the street (off Washington Place), you may have your ticket validated at the Capitol Lakes front desk.

All members are invited and encouraged to attend. This meeting will be in hybrid format, so you can attend in person or over Zoom. 

Annual Meeting Registration

We ask that all attendees (in-person and virtual) register so that we can confirm we will have the required quorum of 30 members.  However, you are welcome to attend in person even if you did not register ahead of time.  You must register to receive the Zoom link to attend virtually.

If you would like a printed version of the Annual Meeting packet, we will gladly accommodate your request.  Contact Operations Manager Kerry Helmer at office@lwvdanecounty.org  (preferred) or call (608) 232-9447.  She can mail you these documents, or you may stop by our offices to pick up your packet during open office hours  (11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday).  Documents will be mailed out during the first week of May.

Voting

View a sample ballot. This sample ballot was mailed to all members in accordance with LWVDC Bylaws. Do not return this ballot. All members attending the annual meeting, either in person or over Zoom, have the right to vote.

Member Roles and Responsibilities

1. Read the Annual Meeting materials and prepare to vote on the 2024-25 budget and bylaws changes, and to elect new officers and board directors.

2. Read the Annual Report to be knowledgeable about our work over the past year.

3. Email Sue Jennik at president@lwvdanecounty.org with any questions by May 9.  She will reply via a group email. You’re also welcome to bring questions to the Annual Meeting.
