Liaisons to Senior Centers and Housing Complexes

As soon as possible:

  • Identify a contact at the Senior Center/housing complex who can authorize actions needed
  • Ensure that handouts about Senior Voter Photo ID are available, including the City of Madison or Dane County Senior Voter Photo ID brochures and the “What Seniors Need to Know” handout from the League/Common Cause. The flyer is also available in Spanish
  • Make sure that the Center has a poster about Voter Photo ID posted in a visible location
  • Request publication of an article about Voter Photo ID and online voter registration in their local newsletter (Here is an article that can be used. Updated 5/2018) (Here is a shorter version of this article. 5/2018)

As you accomplish each task, please log your activity on the easy-to-use forms linked on this page.

Additional steps for liaisons:

If you are willing to undertake these tasks and would like to be a senior center liaison, please email and identify the senior center, coalition, or housing complex you are willing to adopt. It doesn't have to be on this list. If more than one person volunteers for the same location, we may share your contact information so you can coordinate.

Questions? Gail Bliss ( and Shirley Haidinger ( are coordinating the Senior Liaison project.
