Democratic primary candidates for 77th Assembly District Representative

Four Democratic candidates will vie for the 77th Assembly District seat being vacated by Terese Berceau's retirement. The winner of the August 14 primary will be unopposed on the November 6 ballot, so the primary contest will determine who represents residents of the 77th District. If you live in the 77th Assembly District, please take the opportunity to get to know the candidates before voting in the primary!

The candidates have all responded to our Candidates' Answers questionnaire. You can read their responses hereKnow Your Candidates interviews are linked to each Candidates' Answers profile, and are available on the Know Your Candidates Madison City Channel page.

In cooperation with vital grass root community organizations, the 100 Black Men of Madison are holding an event so members of communities of color can hear from the candidates in a community setting where they live and work. The event is presented to encourage and inspire all citizens to vote in the upcoming election for whomever they deem worthy. More than 107 million registered voters did not vote during the November 2016 election.

All are welcome.
