Ninety-nine years ago on June 10, Wisconsin became the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment recognizing women's right to vote. Celebrate the 99th anniversary on June 10, 2018, by participating in an unofficial 1.9K community walk and 19K run in downtown Madison that will raise money to support voting rights work in Wisconsin.
This year's event will assist planning for the 100th anniversary in 2019. Lessons learned from this year's informal Walk/Run will help next year's organizers to provide the professional amenities and support that are standard with professionally operated running events.
