With the Governor set to release his budget on February 8, now is the perfect time to familiarize yourself with the Wisconsin budget process. This webinar will provide an overview of the state budget process, including an explanation of where revenue comes from, where the state spends its money, and where your taxes go. It will also provide an overview on the budget process and provide helpful tips on how you can become involved.
The state League has worked with the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families on “A Wisconsin Budget for All.” WCCF staff are extremely knowledgeable about the state budget, which is the basic structure for implementing any WI policy that has fiscal implications.
