League SRDs Provide Valuable Voter Outreach

Voter outreach is a fundamental mission of our League. Here is just a snapshot of where our members who are Special Registration Deputies were out in the community, registering voters, providing information about voter ID, and more, on this last weekend of August. In addition to the regular presence at the Downtown Farmer's Market and Westside Farmer's Market at Hill Farms, members "tabled" at:

At West Fest at Elver Park, the City of Madison Clerk's Office had a table staffed by Voting Ambassadors, most of whom were League members. The state League's Gear Up to Vote van and flag drew attention to the resource table.

This young voter created her own Wisconsin Kid ID and then completed a ballot, voting for her favorite literary characters for three offices: animal, human, and Bucky. Her ballot was secured in a real ballot bag! AND she got an "I voted" sticker.
