Do you think that travel or snow-bird arrangements mean you can't serve? Secretary Barbara Mortensen misses an occasional meeting while on her globetrotting adventures. But someone is always willing to pitch in.

Co-President Kathy Fullin stays active even while she's in Tucson for the winter. She still leads, through email and by phone.

  Board meetings are lively events!

Think you don't know enough? Many Board members learned on the job. Experienced members lend their expertise. We're all volunteers with a common goal.

Afraid it will take too much time? Start small...  Whether you assist with a one-time event, join a unit, "shadow" a current board member to learn more about a position, or simply want to learn more about League, please consider stepping up your involvement. Contact a board member for more information.
