In this special election, residents of Dane County Districts 1, 17, and 33 will elect new supervisors to complete the terms left vacant by the resignations of their former supervisors.

  • MyVote.wi.gov is your online site to check your voter registration, see what's on your ballot, request an absentee ballot, find your polling place, or contact your municipal clerk.

  • Voters may register at the polls on Election Day. In all cases, proof of residence is required to register to vote.

  • Voter photo ID is required to vote. Be sure you have a valid ID for voting! The Dane County Voter ID Coalition hotline for those who need help getting a voter photo ID is 608.285.2141.

  • Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.

  • Voters may ask Union Cab (608.242.2000) for a free ride from their home to the polls and back to their home.

  • Absentee ballots must be received by your clerk by June 4. They can be hand-delivered to your polling place on Election Day.

  • In-person absentee voting will be available for City of Madison residents:

      8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except Memorial Day, May 27)

      9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday (pre-registered voters only on June 1)

    • Central Library

      9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday
      9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday
      9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday (pre-registered voters only on June 1)

  • In-person absentee voting will be available for City of Fitchburg residents:

      May 15 - May 30
      7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except Memorial Day, May 27)
      May 31, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
