County Executive Kathleen Falk will submit her budget to the Board of Supervisors on October 1 and Mayor David Cieslewicz will submit his to the Common Council on October 6. In preparing their budget recommendations both the Dane County Department of Social Services and the City of Madison Office of Community Services were given the directive to reduce funding. The League is requesting that these cuts be restored.
